Classes available for every age and stage of life. Next Sunday, February 21, 2016 the subject of the Church School lesson will be “The Day of Atonement,” Leviticus 16:11-19.
Messiah’s 27th Church Anniversary Celebration will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 3:30 PM. Theme: The church that Jesus Built, John 14:2. Sub-theme: I Don’t Believe He Brought us this far to leave us! Pastor Emeritus, Rev. Roosevelt Austin will be our morning speaker. Afternoon: Rev. Vincent McMillon and the congregation of the St. Paul MBC will be our guests. Dinner will be served immediately following morning service.
Messiah's Youth Ministry will recognize youth for their accomplishments during the first semester of school at our Annual Black History Program/Pot Blessing on February 28, 2016. Parents, please contact Sis Cheldora Haynes or Sis. Juanita Drake with your child's accomplishment.
February is Black History
We are celebraating all month!! Wear you olden day clothes and African attire!! Start preparing for the pot Blessing dinner!! The Pot Blessing dinner and Black History Program will be held on the 4th Sunday, February 28, 2016. Get ready to show your talent and participate in the program, sponsored by your Youth Department. Youth of all ages (up to 99) are asked to participate. Please see Sis. Cheldora Haynes, or Sis. Juanita Drake or stop in the office to sign up.
